REMNANTS - AN AUGMENTED REALITY (AR) EXPERIENCE

Remnants is a new AR app that will integrate digital visual (and audio) content into the user’s real-world environment. Users will use their smartphone to turn their living spaces into a virtual world filled with images, sounds, and text pulled from her writings. Remnants was created in response to the millions of artists and patrons who have sat looking at the same walls for months. It was born from the pining for human connection that comes from mass isolation, it was born out of necessity to connect, create, and remind ourselves of the ingenuity and exceptional achievements of human beings. Remnants is about hope, hope that we will not be forgotten, that we will not fade to dust, that the work continues, we continue. Remnants is proof that artists can/will create beautiful things under the most dire of circumstances. The arts will survive.
